Camera - Take more memory cards or film than you think is needed, and bring extra batteries.
Bible, journal, and pens will be used for note taking along the way.
Money - Take as much cash as you feel comfortable with. (Visa, MC, Discover, and American Express are taken almost anywhere in Israel; however, one and five dollar bills will be handy for smaller purchases.)
Snacks are always good for the trip, especially at night, on the bus, and for light lunches throughout the journey.
Soft drinks are not included with meals and cost approximately $2-$3 each in Israel. (All major brands are available.)
Water - Bottled water is available on the bus at a very reasonable cost.
Phone cards - Buy them in Israel; it is simple and comparable in cost.
Bus drivers - Every bus driver is bonded by the company that TLC works with in Israel. TLC hand picks these bus drivers, and the buses are locked with alarms when you are not with the bus or if the driver leaves it at any time.
Keep your passport with you at all times; place copies of it in every piece of luggage.
