Course Description
This course will take an extensive look at the geographical layout of the land of Israel and the role this land and people have played historically to present day. Special emphasis will be given to the major trade routes and boundaries of the ancient world as well as the special status of Jerusalem in God’s Divine plan.

- Tony L. Crisp. Passport to Israel. 2007 ed. (Publisher: TLC Ministries, Inc.).
Course Requirements
- Attend all classes.
- Keep a class notebook which includes a record of all assignments, notes, handouts, and exams.
- Complete all reading assignments.
- Take each quiz and final exam.
- Complete a 10-12 page paper on a selected topic (to be determined).
Course Objectives
Upon completion of this course the student will have:
- A basic grasp of the historical timeline of the Nation of Israel.
- A basic understanding of ancient and modern boundaries of Israel and surrounding nations.
- A basic understanding of the ancient trade routes in relation to city placement.
- A deeper understanding of the role of the land and people of Israel and the role of nation in God’s economy past, present and future.
- An understanding of the 400 silent years between the Old and New Testament and what strategic role that played in the development of the “fullness of Times”, Galatians 4:4.
Teaching Methodology
- Classroom lecture and discussion.
- Textbooks used as resources.
- Class participation, discussion and assimilation of material presented in class are designed to stimulate the student to further learning and research.
